Hi friends,

I have finally completed a critical step in my aquaponics monitor project.
I’m at the stage where I want friends to take a look at it before I share it with potential users and those in the industry.

The demo

The demo is a semi-working model for an application that monitors the water quality of backyard aquaponics systems.
I invite you to follow the link and interact with the app to see if you can find any serious errors.
You don’t need any experience with software or aquaponics.
Does it work?
For those who are a bit more ‘techy”, it would be great to hear any suggestions or comments on my programming level or give advice on pursuing a job as a junior developer.

What’s next in the project?

• After I get some feedback from you, I’m going to share it among people who might potentially use it or sell it to determine if it’s financially feasible.
• Level up my skills, I need to do a bit more study before I can build it professionally.
•  Research the sensors and hardware. We need to find the right sensors or probes for the system.

  If you have experience in electronics or electrical engineering.  I am now looking at the options for probes.

  Please if you  can help read the document.
• Redesign and rebuild it from the ground up.
  The project is attached to my portfolio and built as a single page. The final app will be designed in a similar style to a ‘native’ telephone app with multiple pages, have a login feature and other features depending on the resources I can muster.
• This is an open source project the code is open to the public. I invite you to join for the fun of it. If it looks like money can be made then we’ll talk business.
