I am totally excited to let you know I’m launching my portfolio site and I am looking for freelance projects or junior developer positions.

I’d love everybody to take a look and let me know what they think.

My focus on the projects and the portfolio itself is to display typical skills I need to have as a full-stack JavaScript developer. But mostly to build great user interfaces with React.

More projects to be added later.

As far as looking for work there are a few main focuses for me.

Consulting and building sites.

I’m ready to consult small to medium businesses and individuals about their requirements for websites and then build the sites they need.

Questions like:

• Do you even need a site?
• Will your business make more money with one?
• What are the costs to build the site?
• How to bring people to your site?
• Are you prepared to pay, maintain and put in the effort to get people using it?

All of this I’m willing to discuss for free, but the coding will need to be paid.

I can design, plan and develop static sites that are simple, and cheap. They contain information about your business and show contact details.

For more complex sites, for example, with mailing lists, online sales, blogs, bookings and anything else you need I can offer sites built with content management systems these will be designed, developed and set up in such a way that you won’t need any real technical knowledge to maintain and improve them on your own.

They will also come with some documentation and tutorial videos specific to your site to get you started.

Freelance work

I’m looking for smaller freelance projects, updating and upgrading existing sites using PHP, WordPress, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Junior positions

Because there is a fair bit more money and challenge in developing more complex applications I’ve been focusing in on React and Node.

I’d love to get amongst a great team and develop my skills.

Special deal

Anybody from my hometown, Northcliffe area with a decent business model will get priority and cheaper prices. I want to build a name for myself down that way and I want to help stimulate the economy.

What can you do?

Have a quick look at the site give me a bit of feedback, you don’t need to be pro. There might be one bug on the back-end and one on the server let me know if you encounter them, I’m still doing my back end testing.
